Most people tend to complain when something goes wrong. I, on the contrary, would like to let you know how pleased I am with the services offered by your airline. I don't travel a lot (once a year), but each time I flew Virgin Express to visit European destinations.

I recently took a Virgin Express flight from Bordeaux to Brussels and was very impressed with the service and, of course, the price! I note with interest that you have begun flights to London City, and wondered if you were considering beginning flights from Brussels to elsewhere in the UK (particularly in the north, such as Leeds). At the moment Bordeaux is not an easy place to get to from the north of England!

To whom it may concern,
Having taken about 300 flights over the past ten years, I must admit only once did I write a letter about my experience on board. I feel I must take time again to recommend your purser, Ms Anja, on your Brussels-Barcelona flight on 23 August 2003. Leaving the gate late due to baggage offloading for no-show passengers and all of that at 7am, I got off to a poor start. Nevertheless once the flight got going, Anja was wonderfully accommodating, understanding and helpful, going out of her way to make the trip as enjoyable as possible. It just shows it doesn’t matter what you pay, really good service comes from individuals like Anja who feel they should go beyond their duty.

A few weeks ago I have made a reservation for my daughter Lisa together with her nanny. Her nanny had only flown once previously and she had never been to Brussels Airport before. I had therefore asked for some personal assistance both in Copenhagen for the departure and in Brussels upon arrival. As a good customer, I would like to thank the Virgin Express team for the wonderful job they have done. The nanny was very pleased and of course I was too, because I know that my daughter had been taken care of just as well as the nanny. Thank you again!

Last month I travelled with Virgin Express from Brussels to Athens and back. It was the first time that I’ve travelled with your company and I didn’t know what to expect. My travel experience with Virgin Express was great! Both flights were smooth, the staff were very friendly and both flights not only left on time but they even managed to arrive early (the first time 20 minutes and the second time 10 minutes) at their destination. For this reason I would like to congratulate you and thank you for this enjoyable flight experience (especially for someone like me who is always afraid to fly). We have just returned from Geneva where we spent our Christmas holidays. I'm writing to you to tell you how happy we are with Virgin Express flying to Geneva. Finally some interesting air fares after the high price monopoly of Sabena/Swiss Air. The aircraft was on time, service perfect...what else can you wish for? I had the enormous pleasure of travelling with you on Tuesday 10 December 2002. I booked the flight as a surprise for my mother's birthday. We left for Nice at 7am to return that same day, and after not seeing her for three years I felt very emotional. The first time I ever flew with Virgin Express was a free flight, which I had won with my Diners Club bonus. I was happily surprised with your punctuality, young and smiling service on board, attractive prices and last, but not least, the option of booking flights online. I am already thinking of going to Barcelona or Rome with my husband!

PS: People tend to write to complain about things but often forget to share the good things in life. Don't worry, I've already told all my friends about Virgin Express' great bargains to visit their family (Spaniards from Malaga, Portuguese from Lisbon)! Keep up the good work!

They helped us to take our flight from Linate via Brussels to Madrid, although we were late checking in, with baggage. It is the first time that we fly with Virgin Express and our impression is that staff are highly professional and friendly, which is difficult to find these days. Hi, Just a quick note to say that after having used you on a regular basis for flights out of Madrid, where I live, I am delighted with your service. It has always been convenient, hassle free and excellent value for money. On a final note, congratulations on your new service, which allows reservation changes, it's very useful. My only complaint is that you don't have enough destinations! If you did I would make you my only airline (Paris, Amsterdam, Zurich, Northern England and Morocco are my usual destinations). Keep it up!

Dear Sir, On Thursday 17/10/02 I took the flight Brussels-Malaga at 10.45am. Half way through the flight I got an anxiety attack, despite the medicine I took before take-off. Luckily I could count on the understanding and professionalism of the cabin crew. I would like to thank all the cabin crew on the flight, in particular Peggy van Vreckhon (I'm not sure of the spelling), again for all their support! This e-mail is intended to provide you with my feedback concerning your services. I have been quite surprised, flying to and from Malaga from Brussels this month, by the overall quality of your services, the nice reception on board and the respect of the timetables! If you go further this way, you’ll reach an average satisfaction level of your customers that could reach the sky ;-). - Easy ticketing and check-in process; - On time to take off; - On time or, even better, early arrival; - Warm welcome on board. This may sound a little bit exaggerated but it isn’t as I was very cautious to fly with a so-called low cost company having replaced the good old timer - Sabena. Much better customer approach and follow-up is key to your current success! Congratulations and keep on flying this way.

First time to go Virgin! Booked via the net. Super! The plane was clean and nice. Very friendly and efficient staff. The way of serving food is very good. The “bag” makes you happy! (We even took it with us for the grandchildren) The amount of food - one good sandwich - is just enough on a flight of under 4-5 hours. And…easy to eat! Super. We are going back to Malaga in October, most probably with…Virgin!

I wish to thank Brian with all my heart, he answered the phone when I rang in panic on the 3rd July. A person who was very dear to me had just died and I therefore needed to take the plane to Madrid together with my children - who were still at school, my computer had just been replaced and the printer wasn’t working. It was noon and I needed three tickets for the 3 pm flight to Madrid. Brian was on the other end of the line and he helped me to calm down and he completed all the reservation steps by phone - which I normally do via the Internet. He did everything to get me my three tickets and so I managed to be in Madrid by 5.30 that very day. Congratulations for engaging such nice and efficient people!! Keep this excellent service up!

My wife travelled from London Heathrow to Nice, connecting in Brussels, on 12th April and returned on 21st April. We purchased the ticket at your sales desk in Terminal One, London Heathrow. The transaction was quick and your staff really helpful. The pilots were calm and reassuring and the cabin staff courteous and professional. The icing on the cake was that each flight was bang on time. It is easy to complain about bad service but it is much more pleasant to say ‘thank you” to Virgin Express for delivering their promise!

A quick thank you for two excellent flights…we flew from Brussels to Malaga on 4th April and back on 12th April. The outbound flights were on time and the inbound flights 15 to 20 minutes early. Good in-flight service, very professional crew and a big hug from my 2 year old daughter who got lots of warm attention.
